Whew! provides business consulting services (Industrial Organization Psychology), with an emphasis on incorporating psychological tools and perspectives.
Whew! incorporates both Desyree’s psychotherapy background and the insights she has learned as a practicing psychotherapist working with hundreds of clients. Desyree specializes in identity-based trauma, which is trauma experienced by people with marginalized social identities (race, gender, class, culture, religion). Desyree also uses somatic psychotherapy techniques, such as EMDR and BrainSpotting, which focus on the body’s responses to trauma, depression, anxiety, and stressors. These techniques can be used to enhance performance, both on the level of individual people and for groups/organizations.
